If you're comfortable in Google Maps for planning, you can export your motorcycle route as a .gpx file and save it to the EatSleepRIDE app or upload it to a SatNav such as Garmin. This is an easy way to make the route available to a group in the ESR app.
Open up a new tab and go to http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input
The dialogue box looks confusing but just ignore most info.
- Select GPX.
- Paste the Google Maps URL into the box labelled “provide the URL of a file on the Web”.
- Click the Convert button
- A new page will display, click to download and save the .gpx file
- Open the Route and save it to My Garage - now it will be available to view offline in the EatSleepRIDE app!
